We designed a ten GP primary care centre including a community mental health centre and educational facility for a private developer (former preferred bidder for the Castlebar Primary Care Centre).
The challenging sloped site offered unique design opportunities, allowing us to create distinctive entrances for the various parts of the building and brief. The three storey high wings of the 4000sq.m building were arranged to create a courtyard, maximising natural and passive solar light into the large building while reducing impact on adjoining residential properties.
